DEFY IT

Usually, when people are asked what they want (in life),they probably "boot" for a while, and probably end up going: "shrug ionno".

I think what everyone wants whether they know it or not, is peace, love and happiness (any combination of these three is just fine).With more emphasis on the last one tho.

Now its the things that get us there that differ. Obviously, the things that satisfy me aren't the things that satisfy you.

"Man, know thyself". This is one "saying" I like to use a lot and I think its self explanatory. Know yourself, be comfortable in your own skin,dont struggle to do what others have grace to do; find yours.

The things a good novel, a comfortable couch and a bowl of hot amala (gbono feli feli) would do for me on a friday night, I doubt any clubbing session can achieve. But hey that's me!

What I'm trying to say is, heyy you're a beautiful, unique creation of God and there just has to be something special about you. Trust me you don't need to kill yourself about not "fitting in". It's not like I'm saying you shouldn't interact with people appropriately. Thing is,don't do that to the detriment of your SELF. Yeah, you have a "self". Don't kill that "unique specimen" (you) with your fears and feelings of inferiority complex bla bla.

Besides, what people think of as the 'standard' in any place is made up of people's opinions(basically). Why not just stick with your own opinion and you never know, people might actually tend towards it.

BOTTOMLINE:THINK OUTTA THE BOX; DEFY THE "NORM".

I'm supposed to be studying. My exams are starting on monday and I am yelling at Deolu to stop tweeting and read his book when I'm here plessing computer. Anyways, I just felt like I had to say something... Its been a while. I read something today and it got me thinking. I always like to say there is no prototype written anywhere or stated anywhere for people to follow........... so firstly, don't walk up to me and tell me "All girls are sad" *rme* that's just an example though. I'm hoping you get what I mean. If you don't,\___________ lie here and think about it. :D.

Okay this (hopefully) has no element of recoil theory in it (for all of you that think that every single tweet or post I make is about you).

Let's just say I've been "finding" myself, and looking back I can't say I'm proud of everything I've done. I know I've said this before, but do not let your happiness revolve around people. I did that for a while and I'm still paying for it. (B'lee that)

Everyone has a heart and so, everyone feels pain...(even people that claim "anti-cupid" like me) lol.

Anyways, I think I'm done finding myself and I think I've stopped paying for that one mistake too. It wont happen again.

This doesn't exactly make sense to me too *shrug*
